We’re not building what other
companies are building.

01 / 7

We don't profit from your confusion.

02 / 7
Data selling

Your transactions stay on-device.

03 / 7
Per-seat tax

We won't charge you for the people you work with.

04 / 7
Roadmap theatre

No "soon™." No quarter-long teasers. Just shipped.

We only build what we own.

06 / 7
Sales calls

Try the thing. If it fits, you'll know.

07 / 7
Outsourced support

You'll email a person on the team. By name.

// what we do

The opposite, mostly.

One-time pricing

Pay once. Own it. Use it forever.

Build in public

Weekly devlog. Real shas, real diffs, real reasons.

Sweat the copy

If a sentence doesn't earn its place, we cut it.

Honest defaults

The default settings are the right ones.

Two products.
One standard.

We build software we’d use ourselves — and we hold it to a simple test: does it earn the user’s trust?

How we’re different
from most software companies.

We have a short answer for “why should I use your thing over the incumbent.” The long answer is the table below.

The software we needed didn’t exist. So we’re building it.
The Codernate Team
founders · signed, May 2026

We’ve spent years frustrated by finance apps that sell your data, hiring tools that make bias easier, and productivity software that’s more feature catalogue than actual product.

We kept saying “someone should fix this.” Eventually we realised that someone should be us.

Codernate doesn’t do client work or bespoke builds. We build our own products, own them fully, and ship them to real users. Every decision starts with the same question: does this actually make the product better for the people using it?

01No dark patterns

We don't profit from confusion. If you can't tell what a screen does, we built it wrong.

02No feature bloat

Focused tools that do one thing well. Saying no is the job.

03No filler copy

We say what we mean. No PR-speak. No hype words. No "solutions."

04Earn trust first

Revenue follows trust — it doesn't lead it. We start where most companies stop.

// early access

When we ship, you’ll be the first to know.

Two products. One list. No drip campaigns, no FOMO emails — we’ll write to you when there’s something real to try.

Unsubscribe anytime · one email per product launch, max.

// a note from us

We don’t have customers yet. We don’t have testimonials. What we have is conviction — and an unreasonable amount of taste.

We’d genuinely love to hear what you wish software did — even if we’re not the ones to build it.
