Privacy Policy

We wrote this in plain English. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we try to be honest about everything.

What we collect

When you sign up for early access or contact us, we collect your email address and any message you send. That's it. We don't require an account for anything on this site. We don't run ad tracking. We don't install third-party cookies. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated, anonymised page-view data — no individual user profiles.

How we use it

Your email is used to send you the thing you asked for — an early access notification or a reply to your message. We don't send unsolicited newsletters. We don't share your email with anyone. If we ever send you an email you didn't expect, you can unsubscribe instantly with one click.

PennyWatch data

PennyWatch is designed to keep your financial data on your device. We do not have access to your transactions, budgets, or feelings unless you explicitly export and share them. On-device storage is the default. Any optional cloud sync (if we build it) will be end-to-end encrypted.

Verity Interviews data

Interview notes, candidate scorecards, and rubric data created in Verity are owned by the team that created them. We do not access, analyse, or sell this data. We process it only to deliver the service.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie for the contact form's CSRF protection. We don't use tracking cookies, marketing pixels, or any third-party analytics that identify individuals.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time. Email hello@codernate.com and we'll sort it out within 48 hours. If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR — including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. We'll honour them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and — if we have your email — send you a note. The current version is always at codernate.com/privacy.
