Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

Standard terms, plainly written. By using Codernate's products or this website, you agree to these. If something isn't clear, ask us.

Who we are

Codernate is a product company incorporated in Wyoming, USA. We build and operate PennyWatch and Verity Interviews. References to "Codernate", "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to Codernate.

Using our products

Our products are intended for personal or team use as described in their respective documentation. You agree not to use them for any unlawful purpose, to reverse-engineer them, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or to use them in any way that could harm us or other users. Misuse may result in account termination.

Your data

You own your data. We don't claim any intellectual property rights over content you create using our products. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to deliver the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle data.

Early access

Products in early access ("in development" or "coming soon") are provided as-is, without guarantees of uptime, feature completeness, or backward compatibility. We appreciate your patience and your feedback.

Pricing

Where pricing applies, it will be clearly communicated before any payment is required. We don't do hidden fees. One-time pricing means one payment — no subscription unless you explicitly choose one.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Codernate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you by email if the change is material. Continued use of our products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
